Who Is a Data Modeler?
A comprehensive and optimized data model helps create a simplified, logical database that eliminates redundancy, reduces storage requirements, and enables efficient retrieval. It also equips all systems with a ‘single source of truth’ – which is essential for effective operations and provable compliance with regulations and regulatory requirements.
Data Modelers use their understanding of data flows to propose innovative data solutions to help the organization achieve its end goals in all areas of operation, including product lifecycle and customer experience. Data Modelers will be responsible for understanding how the organization uses its core data and maintaining data integrity by eliminating redundancy.
The aspire journey is composed of 5 tracks:
- Track 1: Data Modeling Basics in SQL, Data Warehouse, Snowflake and DBT.
- Track 2: Data Science Basics Concepts and Python Introduction.
- Track 3: DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Track 4: Version Control Systems.
- Track 5: Data Visualization Skills.
